[How to apply]
- Access to Study in Korea(https://www.studyinkorea.go.kr/) through Graduate School website pop-up window.
- The link will only be accessible/activated during the application period.
※ Please select your department by “major name.” If there are duplicate majors, the department name will be noted on major. - After completing the online application, you must print out the application form and submit is to Graduate School office(Yulgok Hall #305) with other mandatory documents in person or by post before the deadline for submission.
※ If the application is printed out in blank, fill it out by hand before submission. - The signature of Financial guarantor is necessary on the application form.

Interview and Evaluation by the Department |
[Interviews are conducted by each department]
- Step 1. After the evaluation of your submitted documents, each department will decide whether to proceed the interview.
- Step 2. The type of the interview(telephone, e-mail or in person)will be chosen by the department and contact the applicants with details individually.
※ If applicants are abroad, interviews may be conducted online or by phone. - Step 3 . The final evaluation is conducted by the committee of each department and the Board of the Graduate School.

Announcement of Successful Applicants |
- The list of successful candidates will be posted on the Graduate School website(Board→Admission Notices) and sent individually by email.

Tuition Fee Payment |
[Applicants who are residing in Korea]
- Payment in person: Visit KB Bank in Ajou University with tuition fee invoice during business hours (09:00–16:00) and get assistant.
- Bank transfer: Transfer the tuition fee to the account number stated on the tuition invoice during available banking hours(09:30~16:30).
[Applicants who are abroad]
• Separate instructions will be provided ※ Failure to pay within the designated period will result in admission cancellation. ※ After payment, applicants must send payment receipt to grad@ajou.ac.kr. |
Admission Package |
- Admission package(including admission letter, certificate of scholarship, inviation letter, etc) can only be issued after tuition payment.

Dormitory Application |

[How to apply Student ID card]
- Student ID and Student ID card application will be noted on Graduate School website (Board → Admission Notices)
- After student ID is issued, create Ajou Portal ID from Ajou Portal website (http://portal.ajou.ac.kr)
[Course registration]
- Schedules and procedures including credits required for graduation will be announced on Graduate School website (Board → Notices)

ARC and TB test |
[Alien Registration Card]
- Apply for ARC by visiting Suwon Immigration Center in person or submit all the required application documents to the graduate school office when you received group application notice.
※ Inquires with visas should be dealt with the immigration office call center (Tel: +82-2-1345) or e-government homepage for Foreigners(www.hikorea.go.kr) [Tuberculosis Test]
- When the nationals of the high TB-burden countries live in one of the countries and apply for a long term visa at a diplomatic mission, you should submit the “Certificate of Health” including TB test result. When you apply for alien registration, submission of TB test is exempted.
Direction to Yeongtong Public Health Center

- ① Take a bus in front of Ajou University main gate(Bus No.:720-1), and get off at the Beop Won Ga Sa Gwa(법원가사과)/Dong Su Won Deung Gi So(동수원등기소)
- ② If you take a taxi, it takes about 20 minutes and fare will be around 9,000 KRW.
